Calling All Bands!
We will be recruiting local and regional bands to play on race day along the course for Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio 2009. From classic rock to rhythm and blues, we will need to fill 27 stages to keep runners and spectators rockin’ from start to finish!

You’ve Got Spirit and We Want to Hear It!
Attention local Cheer teams and Dance Squads- we need you! Local High School and Middle School squads are invited to compete in the ‘Spirit on the Course’ Competition, in which teams vie for cash prizes and bragging rights.
We will begin recruiting local cheer squads and dance teams for Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio 2009 in the spring of 2009. Please continue to check back for updates on how to become involved.
2008 Cheer Winners
Nearly 30 cheer teams from around San Antonio lined the course of the inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & ½ Marathon to cheer on runners and walkers as they made their way through the 13.1 and 26.2-mile courses.

2. Harmony Science Academy – cheer site 27
3. Roosevelt High School – cheer site 20
