Calling All Bands!
Want to showcase your band’s musical talent to a crowd of more than 20,000?
We’re searching for the hottest local and regional bands to entertain runners and spectators from start to finish on 27 rockin’ stages along the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio marathon and ½ marathon course!
Bands of every genre- from classic rock to rhythm and blues- are encouraged to submit a press kit to the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Entertainment Committee for a chance to be selected to play on one of the stages.

Got Spirit? We Want To Hear It!
Show us your spirit fingers! We need your help cheering 20,000 runners to the finish line! Local and regional high school and middle school cheer squads are invited to compete for cash prizes in a Spirit-on-the-Course Competition.
Not only will you help motivate runners and walkers to finish strong each step of the way, but if you’ve got what it takes, you can be named one of the top three most spirited squads and earn some extra cash for your school.

After the race, continue the celebration at the post-race evening Headliner Concert at the Alamodome. Stay tuned, the headliner performance will be announced in late summer of 2008!
Past Rock ‘n’ Roll headliners include Chris Isaac, Seal, INXS, Sugar Ray, Journey, Collective Soul, and The Goo Goo Dolls.
Your race number is your ticket and all participants and volunteers get in free. Bring your friends and family! Tickets will be available for purchase online prior to race weekend, at the Health & Fitness Expo and at the concert gate on race weekend.
